RACHEL ROSE
Author Bio
Rachel Rose writes cozy mysteries with a dark sense of humor and a soft spot for justice served… creatively.
She is the author of the Better Housekeeping Murder mysteries, where casseroles coexist with crime scenes and sweet grandmothers are sometimes the most dangerous people in the room. Her stories blend small-town charm, sharp wit, and a wink of darkness, exploring what happens when ordinary women decide they’re done letting bad men get away with everything.
A Southerner at heart now living in New York, Rachel has been married for 20 years and is a mom of two. She’s an iced latte enthusiast, a devoted animal lover, and personal assistant to a very opinionated fat orange cat named Jack.
When she’s not writing about suspicious accidents and suspiciously perfect baked goods, Rachel can usually be found plotting her next twist, romanticizing small-town life, or convincing herself she definitely does not need another coffee.
She believes mysteries should be clever, characters should feel like people you know, and justice doesn’t always wear a badge.

A DARK AND COZY VIGILANTE MYSTERY
Agatha Graycobble is a sweet grandma.
She gardens. She bakes. She removes problematic men.
In the quaint town of Patterstown, Agatha is known for her pies, her volunteer work, and her impeccable manners. No one suspects the soft-spoken widow with sensible shoes has a talent for… housekeeping.
Detective April Carter is juggling kids, grief, and small-town crime when a string of very convenient “accidents” starts landing on her desk. The victims? Not exactly good guys. The problem? April keeps finding comfort in Agatha’s kitchen — and the pattern she’s noticing feels a little too homemade.
As their lives tangle over cornbread and secrets, April faces a troubling realization: someone is cleaning up Patterstown.
And she’s not sure if she wants them to stop.
Darkly funny, cozy, and just a little deadly, Good Housekeeping proves justice tastes better when it’s served with dessert
